STRATA (Sertraline for Anxiety in Autism) 
 
This study is looking to support patients with a diagnosis of autism who are looking for help with anxiety. Click here for more information. 
 
COSMIC 
 
This study looked at the role of MRI and CT scans with patients who have suspected Coronary Artey Disease. Click here for more information. 

Completed Studies 

These are the studies the Practice have previously been involved in.  
Skill Mix in Primary Care 
 
This study asked about the employment levels of different types of practitioners working at GP practices and the reasons behind choosing the different types of practitioner. 
Team KP (Knee Pain) 
 
This study looked at patient with Osteoarthritis and Knee Pain with the aim to optimise the management of the condition. 
Investigating Musculoskeletal Health and Wellbeing 
 
This study aimed to measure and characterise the development of frailty and pain by the way of a survey with eligible adults. 
CODEC 
 
This study was regarding patients with Type 2 Diabetes and was undertaken with the Leicester Diabetes Centre. 
The GENVASC Study 
 
Working with The University of Leicester's Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit, The Genetics and Vascular Health Check Study is a study to help determine whether genetic information can improve risk prediction of Coronary Artery Disease. This was the first study we were involved in. 
The Multi-Ethnic Lifestyle Study Questionnaire 
 
Once again working with the University of Leicester, this study's objective is to investigate lifestyle behaviours within an ethnically diverse population and to compare the prevalance of these behaviours between different clinical populations. Any adult can take part in this Study, please come to the Practice and ask for a Questionnaire Booklet. 
The NEON (Narrative Experiences Online) Trial 
 
The NEON study has collected many different mental health recovery stories. They are looking for people who want to access these stories as part of their research trial. Find out more and get involved at www.recoverystories.uk 
The PRINCIPLE Trial 
 
The Principle Trial is aiming to find treatments for COVID-19 for older people. They want to find medicines that can help people with COVID symptoms get better quicker and stop them requiring hospitalisation. If you have COVID symptoms currently you may be elligible to take part. Find out more here
Dementia Research  
 
As a Dementia Friendly Practice, we are strong advocates for the work being carried out by Alzheimer's Research UK and the Join Dementia Research Team. You can sign up yourself or for a loved one to take part in studies and you will be matched up with suitable stuides taking place in your local area. National Cancer Diagnosis Audit 
 
With the support of Cancer Research UK, the aim of the National Cancer Diagnosis Audit (NCDA) is to provide new insights to support quality and service improvement activities to help to diagnose cancers earlier.
