Travel Advice and Vaccinations
This is available by appointment only with the practice nurse
You will be asked to complete the travel questionnaire prior to your vaccines. The practice nurse will then review your medical records to determine what vaccines you will require.
PLEASE BE AWARE: The Practice is unable to provide vaccinations for 'last-minute' travel. We require 8 weeks notice prior to travel to ensure there is enough time for you to have all neccessary vaccinations and complete any multi-dose courses that may be required for your destination.
We are no longer able to give the Yellow Fever vaccine.
Some vaccinations are not available on the NHS and require payment if you wish to have them. A list of these vaccinations and their costs can be found below.
General travel advice and useful information regarding specific countries can be found on the NaTHNaC Travel Health Pro website. Click here to be taken to their website. NaTHNaC is the National Travel Health Network & Centre. They are a UK government organisation which produces travel health guidance for healthcare professionals advising travellers as well as for travellers going overseas from the UK.
