Diabetes Week 11th - 17th June Setting the Record Straight 

Diabetes Week is one of the UK’s biggest annual campaigns. This year, it is focusing on ‘Setting the record straight’ by telling the truth about diabetes, busting myths and challenging stereotypes. 
 
The Campaign focuses on what it’s actually like to live with diabetes every day and encouraged people were encouraged to share the things they wish everyone knew about living with the condition. 
 
Diabetes UK have spoken to healthcare professionals about some of the biggest myths surrounding diabetes care, and how we can bust them. In the videos below, healthcare professionals say what they'd to set the record straight on. From early morning urine testing to pumps in primary care, find out about some of the biggest myths in diabetes care, and help us to set the record straight by showing them to your friends and family.
